In the Spotlight – Bethany Maldon
“It’s an environment where I can set my own pace, hours, prices and its a community still with people all around you. I have never been so happy with my career. I love coming to my own salon.”
You can say that Bethany was keeping it all in the family when she made the move to owning her own independent salon with Salon Suites, Colonnade. Her step-mother, Dawna Watson, is a salon owner with Salon Suites at the Bazaar 280 location and her father, Ray, services the go to guy for Salon Suites’ heating and cooling needs. So, when she looking for her career catalyst, where else to look besides Salon Suites! Not only does Bethany love a space that is all her own, but her clients couldn’t be more pleased with the move either!
“They love it. I have not had one say something negative. They like having their own room and privacy.”
One thing that comes across with Bethany, besides being friendly, personable, and welcoming, is that she takes great pride in her work. Recognizing that your time is precious and you are putting your overall look in her hands, she gives her client her 100% attention and focus.
“My relationship with the Lord inspires me to do better everyday. Whatever I do my name is on and so I make sure to do it with excellence.”
