In the Spotlight – Angie Gaither
Her small town roots show the moment you step into her salon. Southern hospitality at it’s finest. Angie Gaither of Shear Serenity at Salon Suites Greystone immediately makes you comfortable and what could be better for someone you are entrusting with your locks.
Angie is from Weogufka, Alabama a small town with Southern charm and felt a calling to the beauty industry. Always having a compassionate heart for others her joy comes from making her clients feel better about themselves on the inside as well as the outside. She invests in each client and with the privacy that Salon Suites allows her in her own personal salon she can take the time to listen to them and pray with them and help in anyway that she can to help them in their journey. She feels directed to act as God’s hand and allows Him to direct her.
“Life is bigger than what is right here on earth and it’s about joy while we are here and peace and making them feel the best they can.”
After 24 years in the beauty industry Angie has many tips, tricks, and specialties to share with her clients but areas that she really shines in are natural coloring and hair cutting for fine hair; and if you have fine hair you know that fine hair is truly unique and needs extra attention to look full and fabulous. One fine hair trick she was kind enough to share with us and we have to pass on to you, the reader, is if you have flat and fine hair is to always blow dry your hair in the opposite direction. This will help lift the root and give you an extra boost. Of course the best volume and hair health consult with Angie on Monat’s Volume System to have fuller, longer, stronger hair in 90 days.
When she isn’t in her salon you can most likely find Angie with her two boys or in her moments alone, curled up with a book or exercising her creative muscle in another medium, such as paint.
