In the Spotlight – Terry Hall
Education:
The beauty industry just fit for Terry Hall. His mother worked in salons while he was growing up and then owned one with his brother and his partner. So for Terry, joining the world of beauty was a natural progression. Growing up around hair and learning everything from cuts to color did not stop his thirst for knowledge. After getting his cosmetology license from Winonah International School of Cosmetology, Terry advanced his training with Vidal Sassoon and Jacques Dessange of Paris. He learned both the English and French method of hair cutting and has been an American Board Certified Hair Colorist for over a decade. He shares all of this knowledge by training all over the world and being apart of the fashion industry. He continues to train and loves to grow as a stylist and educator.
Client Care:
Being at a large salon for 25 years he decided to make the move to own an independent salon suite so that we could have an intimate and private experience with his client. Terry uses the intimate atmosphere to get to know his client and make sure that the look he creates will fit the client’s personality and lifestyle. Taking the time to provide each client with not only excellent care when they are with him but also excellent service even after they leave shows his commitment. He truly cares about each individual client and making them feel beautiful on the inside and out.
Inspiration:
Even in his free time, Terry’s love for art and beauty shine through. He is a member of Steel City Men’s Chorus that raises money for AIDS charities, is an active member in his church, and to unwind he watches artistic competition shows, such as Project Runway. His creative energy is constantly being fueled and inspired by fashion, art, and culture. His favorite iconic look is from the 1940’s and 1950’s and this classic sense of fashion pulls into his personal style. He is always fashionable in classic clean style but with a relaxed and fun element.
